-------------------------------------
“Oh, what's this?!”
“I think it's right in front of you right now, and it's called a status board.”
“...... looks like some kind of game.”
“I know, it's like Gaia Quest, it's so fun!”
“Sorry, I've never played that game.”
“Oh, you're missing out on life, brother. You should definitely try it.”
(TN- Changed Akira calling our MC Oni-san to Brother)
Akira's dull eyes sparkled and his voice bounced, revealing his childlike side.
“Can I ask you something? What's the number after these spells?”
Kufika is 2 and Kudoge is 1, strange numbers.
“Oh~ that's the amount of MP the spell consumes. ...... You know the magic points, don't you?”
“I know that much. I mean, I have zero MP right now, so I can't cast any spells.”
“...... You know, if I may be so bold as to say, you shouldn't expose your weaknesses too much, like having two spells or zero MP. If I were a murderer trying to kill you, that statement could be very lethal.”
“I know, but Akira can read my mind anyways. Besides, Akira wouldn't kill me, right?”
There is no way that someone who has taught me so many things in such a kind way would try to kill me.
Then Akira sounded like he mumbled, “You're going crazy.......”
And then.
“Oh well. Here's the important thing, the murderer must kill someone within a week or he will die.”
“...... Eh? What?!”
He just said the most ridiculous thing ever.
“Okay, what is it? I have to kill someone by the end of the week or I'm dead?”
“Yes, you are. Exactly one week from now, by 10:30.”
Akira said, looking up at the clock in the park.
The rain had begun to drizzle.
...... If I don't kill someone, I will die.
“Seriously ...... is that really true? Has anyone tried it?”
“I don't know, I've only heard about it from people. But I don't want to die. ...... If you want, you can try it out brother. I'll be your witness in a week.”
Akira looked up at me with a mean look on his face.
“N-No thanks.”
I don't want to die in vain either.
“That's right. That's why we have to keep killing people.”
“I-Is that so....?”
If you don't kill people, you will die.
Wouldn't this be considered as justifiable self-defense or emergency exclusion?
“Brother, did you feel guilty when you killed that woman earlier?”
“...... N-No, I don't think so.”
I found it strange that I did so.
I didn't feel the slightest bit of guilt for killing someone, even if it was to protect myself.
“I've seen a lot of different serial killers all my life, but brother you seem like the Hero of Justice type.”
"hero of justice……?"
“I mean he's usually pretty warm, but he's really hard on the bad guys.”
“O-Oh, that kind of thing ...”
I haven't actually acted on it because I don't want to get into trouble, but I definitely have a solid sense of justice in my heart.
“So, brother why don't you just kill the bad guys? It'll make the town safer and kill two birds with one stone.”
Akira easily says this, but this is a matter of murder.
I don't know if I can break it down that simply.
“I'm a hedonist type, by the way.”
“What's that?”
“I kill whoever I feel like killing, you know?”
“Akira? You must be joking right.”
There is no way this cute, innocent boy is killing people for pleasure.
“Fufufu. Brother will be surprised when he finds out my level.”
“Haha, okay.”
“So, brother, what's your name? You can tell me now, right?”
Akira closed the umbrella he was holding.
The rain seemed to have stopped before he knew it.
“I'm Yamato Onizuka. Nice to meet you.”
I held out my hand to Akira as a sign of appreciation.
“Yes, it's nice to meet you too. Oh, and also just so you know, I'm a woman. You seem to have misunderstood.”
“......?”
“Well then, Yamato-san, take care.”
Then Akira waved at me and ran off without making a single sound of footsteps through the puddles.
“...... she was a woman ..... Oh, I forgot to ask how to turn this off.”
A woman?!
