Episode 35: 10th
Person
“... Guoha ...!?”
The knife that I
stabbed with great force pierced Saburo Yamazaki's throat precisely.
Saburo Yamazaki gushed
a lot of blood out of his mouth and neck, and his eyes widened.
When he saw my figure,
he started mouthing something.
“Kah ... Kah ...”
But with his throat
crushed, he was unable to speak.
“Aside from Hosoya-san,
you made a mistake by putting your hands on Saeki...... That's why you're going
to die.”
“... Ke ... Gofu ...!”
With tears in his eyes,
Saburo Yamazaki put his right hand on his throat and extended his left hand to
me.
However, his body
immediately fell to the floor.
Saburo Yamazaki had run
out of steam.
(Tete tete tte tte tte ̄

A cheerful sound effect
rang in my head.
Then a machine-like
sound announced the level up.
{Onizuka Yamato's level
has been increased by 1 for killing Yamazaki Saburo.}
{Maximum HP increased
by 2, Maximum MP increased by 2, Strength increased by 1, Armor increased by 1,
and Speed increased by 2.}
{Yamato Onizuka has
learned the Nshikudo spell.}
Saburo Yamazaki, who
had died with his eyes wide open and looking like a demon, quickly disappeared.
The blood that was
spattered on the couch and my clothes, as well as the knife that was still
stuck in his neck, disappeared together with him.
I really wanted to
torment him longer, and I wanted to kill him while he was still conscious, not
while he was asleep, but since Saburo Yamazaki was a murderer and I really
didn't want him to be able to use any spells, I had to choose the most certain
method of attacking him in his sleep.
I took a breath and
looked for the memory card of the security camera.
It seems that the
footage from the security camera outside was connected to a computer, and I
succeeded in finding and erasing it.
In addition, I found
Saeki's smartphone randomly sitting on Saburo Yamazaki's desk.
My theory was correct
after all.
I pondered for a moment
in front of Saeki's phone, but eventually decided to take it home.
I carefully opened the
front door and quickly left the house while checking outside through the bay
window to make sure I wouldn't run into his wife and child.
I went back the way I
came and returned to my apartment.
As soon as I entered my
room and locked the door, I suddenly felt nauseous.
I ran into the bathroom
and vomited repeatedly.
I had killed ten people
in my life, but this was the only murder my mind and body could not accept.
The reason was clear to
me.
--On this day, for the
first time in my life, I killed a man out of vengeance.
Part/Chapter 1 ends here.
